Stimulation Day 1 Coming up.....

Sorry I haven't been blogging much. It was the end of school and it is just a crazy time of year. Plus I have been to the beach the past two weekends. :) It was very nice and relaxing trips and I really enjoyed it.

Most of you saw all the medicines I got in the mail. I came home from work and there was a huge box on my front porch. I laid out all the medicine and just couldn't believe it. This made me very nervous because I am terrified of needles and some were HUGE and some didn't look so bad. Well the next day I started to take Lupron along with some other things. My mom came over to help me set up the shot and I did it all by myself. :) I was so proud of myself because I am terrified of needles. I have to do this shot between 4 and 6 each day. I was at the beach this weekend and had to do it in the car because I didn't want to go all the way back to the condo just to do the shot. There are a lot more medicines to come and I will keep you posted on them.

I go to the doctor this Friday for stimulation day 1. I can't believe it is all getting so close. I am sure the doctor will tell me more medicines that I need to do after this day. Also, I have to stop working out and swimming this Friday. I know it will all be worth it, but that is very hard for me. I love love working out. It is my stress release. Plus I LOVE swimming during the summer. My parents have a pool. I will not be able to swim most of the summer espcially if the IVF works(fingers crossed).

My feelings and emotions have actually been okay lately. Now my husband might think differently :) I am really nervous though. I really want this to work. God will take care of us and we just have to stay positive.

less than a month and 9 days away :)

First off, school is almost over. I have nine more days left with my sweet fourth graders and I will be moving to third next year! Am I excited? YES and NO! I love my new team but will miss my old one tremendously. I know we will still work at the same school but it is hard. I call them Momma Doz and Grandma Mos. They take care of me and really treat me like their daughter. I am so very lucky to have them as teammates. My girls next year are AWESOME too! I will work with Colbi and Olivia. We are around the same age. Wait, I think I am the oldest ha! They are very sweet and encouraging girls and I am excited to spend some time with them! Did I say just 9 more days! This has been a VERY stressful year! ha!

Now onto the good things.... We are less than a month away from the big retrieval day which is June 5. I am feeling anxious and excited. I start my real medicines next week and I am super nervous about that b/c I HATE shots. I feel so sorry for whoever gives them to me. I am really going to try to give them to myself this time because I have so many. The pharmacy called last week to tell me about the medicines and there were 10 different medicines. TEN!!!!!!!!! That is a lot of medicine and of course insurance covers NONE. Why would they do something like that? ha! So ignore my emotions for the next month please. If you see me crying it is okay and if I am moody well that is going to be okay :) My poor hubby will have to deal with most of it b/c normally when I stress I work out. Well I can't work out and I can't swim. I am just going to find some amazing shows on Netflix and lounge in bed.

On another note, my moms birthday is tomorrow and Mother's Day is this Sunday. I am blessed beyond belief with an amazing mom who is always there for me and makes me smile! She will do anything and everything for me and I love her so much! Thank you for always being there for me mom and I hope to be the same type of mom you have been for me! She might kill me but tonight is a picture of my mom dancing on a cruise we went on :) She is not shy by any means and will dance to whatever she wants :)

Medicine......

So I did start on birth control as I stated before... Well I have never done birth control and it is making my body feel weird at times. I guess getting me ready for all of the medicines I will take during the process and a week before. I actually start medicine on May 15. This is the day after Field Day at my school which I am happy with because I want to enjoy Field Day with my kiddos at work. I emailed the financial lady at Advanced and she could only give me an estimate of how much my medicine will be. Okay are you ready for this... This is not on top of the $12,200 we have already put down. It will be about $5,000. That is just crazy to me and of course insurance does not cover any of it. Oh well.. What can you do :) Things will work out and I am trying not to let it stress me out. I have been doing much better with that lately. Hopefully it stays the same as time gets closer.

On another note, my husband is the sweetest guy ever. He was talking about how he is just going to sit around with me and not leave me alone during this time. I can't do much of anything during this process. They even told me not to TWIST. ha! I love him with all of my heart and this process has helped our relationship grow so strong. He is always there for me and deals with my moodiness :) Poor guy! I love you baby!

HOPE

As I sit here and watch Giuliana and Bill I cry as they hear the news that they are expecting. I have struggled with fertility and have watched their show from day 1... I have seen their struggles with IVF and then she discovered she had breast cancer. She beat the cancer and they had to go through surrogacy and it worked :) Ryan and I have talked about this and will cross that rode if needed in the future! I am just beyond excited for them and we have HOPE :)

I can't wait to hear the good news again that we are pregnant... That was the best feeling in the world..  I think about the whole process and get excited and nervous at the same time... My IVF nurse (who I drive crazy) emailed me today with a new protocol. I will now have my retrieval date on June 5 and then the transfer 3 to 5 days later.. I am excited it is going to happen earlier than expected and nervous too. I cannot express how much I want a family. I think I will be a nervous wreck until we find out if it worked or not. I know that being so open with the process I am going to tell everyone on my blog and know that will be a joyous or very hard time. But it will all work out in God's timing and we have the love and support of our friends and family.

We definitely had an obstacle thrown our way this week. My husband's truck messed up and now we have to fix something on it. I am telling you, when it rains it POURS. I am trying not to stress about it because I know all things will work out.

I will tell you this! This baby is going to be CELEBRATED!!!! I will never want to let it go and I will be FAT and sick all of the time. It will all be worth it!!

Today's picture is from a cruise we went on with both set of parents during Thanksgiving. My husband is very artistic and talented. On this particular day, I was just staring off and thinking about everything. My mind wonders and sometimes I can be really quiet(shocking) and just can't help but think about everything going on. I remember this day clearly because that morning we found out our procedure that we did to get pregnant did not work. I thought to myself I am not going to give up and we will move on to the next step!!

Thank you for your purchase......

Well today I finally got everything straightened out with the company we are financing through for the IVF. It took about a week but it finally happened. Well I got an email from the lady I have been communicating with and it said thank you for your purchase. I just thought that was a funny way of putting that with what we are doing :)
Well I went to the doctor today and on the way there had to drink a bunch of water. I mean A LOT of water. If you know me, I have a very small bladder and use the restroom constantly esp when I am drinking water. Well I get in the doctor's office and the lady could tell I really had to use the restroom so they got me back right away. Well they did a uterus check and she said it was WONDERFUL.. Then I had my yearly check up and did some other test. Then, finally she let me use the restroom and I had to go back and do an ultrasound. She said my bladder was full again while doing the ultrasound. Then, I had to go do some blood work and talk with the financial counselor. It was a long but good visit. Luckily I don't have to go in again until June 2. Tiffany(my wonderful IVF nurse) called and I am on birth control. I only take the active pills and this helps with my lining and keeping me from having a cycle before then. I have never been on birth control so this should be interesting...

Well here is my protocol for the next few months :) Please continue to pray for us through this journey and I will be posting on here a good bit to keep people updated..

You are to start birth control pills tonight. Take ACTIVE pills only. You will be starting lupron ( this is an injection that prevents you from ovulating) on 5/23. (We will call and tell you how to do this injection the day before.) Take your last ACTIVE birth control pill on 5/27. You will need to be here 6/2 @ 8:00am for bloodwork and ultrasound. This is called stimulation day one. You will most likely be starting the fertility drugs that night. We will talk to you that day and give you more information about what meds you will be starting, etc. Starting 6/2, you will coming into the office very often and at one point you'll be here everyday. Your projected retrieval day is 6/13/12. This is projected and could change based off how you stimulate. You will be under anesthesia & your husband will also need to be here to give a specimen. It will be either 3 or 5 days later that we do a transfer. Pregnancy test is roughly two weeks from retrieval day.

I am feeling a little better about the financial end... Just hoping it works out because I get scared on how we are going to be able to afford this.

Today is a picture of my in laws, brother in law, sister in law, and sweet Teagan. They are very supportive through this process and I am very lucky to have them!! I love you all very much!

Beyond overwhelmed......

You know I sit here and wonder how in the world can we afford this process.... It is hard not to stress and I understand it will be okay and things will work out but in the back of my mind I just struggle with understanding that... I sit in bed at night for hours and hours wondering okay how are we going to pay for this, that and everything else. I have so many medical bills from previous procedures, my surgery for my miscarriage, and so forth. Granted I have been able to pay everything each month but adding on another expense and depleting savings is hard for me to grasp. Then in the back of my head I wonder how are we going to be able to afford this child when he or she is here.... Also, it might even be more than one!!! I am definately not a person to complain but I really need prayers right now... I know I do not need to be stressed during this process but I am having a hard time of not doing so... Sometimes I wonder why this is happening to me and do not wish this upon anyone... My poor husband is completely It is one of the hardest things I have been through besides losing someone close to me!

Honestly I hate even complaining but getting this out helps me in ways.... I know things could be worse.... Honestly I am very thankful for my life. Thank you to everyone for the sweet words and prayers.

Here we come IVF

Well I know it has been awhile since I have wrote.. Life has been really busy for me. I am working 40 plus hours a week, getting my Master's degree, and was working on losing weight and getting fit. Well I am finished with my Master's degree in 3 weeks :) It has been a long time coming but I am very excited about this. Then, I have lost a total of 15 pounds and 30 inches in 2 months or so. I plan to lose 10 more before the end of school fingers crossed :) Now lets get to IVF.

Well we went to the doctor in March. Ryan's mom went with us. We wanted to talk to the doctor about other options because we want to do what is best. Well, she told us right off the bat that IVF would be best for us because of how long we have been trying... Well I knew in the back of my head she was going to say that but to actually hear that was different. She talked to us about it and then a financial person came in and showed the numbers. I immediately started crying and thinking oh my goodness this much of a price and it is not even a guarantee. Well honestly I am not going to talk about money in this blog because it really stresses me out to no end. So we are doing IVF in June. Am I excited? YES and no.... Our doctor believes we have a really good chance of this working out and that makes me hopeful. Also, it will be in God's timing when we do have a baby... I am nervous about it not working and all what is involved. It is a lot on my body and hormones(poor Ryan). Well our retrieval date is around June 13 and the transfer will be 3 to 5 days later. So we should know by the end of June if we are going to have a little one again. We are hoping and praying that it works out for us. I will tell you that we will only do IVF twice and then maybe go to other options.
I am very fortunate for the people I have in my life who support me through this process. My husband is amazing and just lets me cry. My co workers at work just sit and listen and let me cry in the hallway. I try to remain strong but this is honestly one of the hardest things I have been through in my life..... I will be on this more and more updating on meds, dates, feelings, etc. I believe one day that someone else will needs someone to talk to through this journey and I know from experience it is nice to talk to someone going through the same journey.
Today I am putting a picture of my sweet puppy Scarlet. She is the best puppy and is my child right now! We love her unconditionally!

Slowly going by

I have to say this whole process just seems slower and slower as we go. I am longing to be pregnant and have a sweet baby but just wondering when that day will be... I will deal with the sickness and being tired and whatever else... However, I know it is in God's timing and will happen and be one of the best moments in our lives!
On a better note my doctor did get our records and Ryan is going in on Monday. Our last fertility Dr. did not do a full exam on Ryan which we just found out about so the new Dr. is just to be on the safe side. No telling how much this is going to cost on us but it definitely will be worth it. Then, we will move on from there. The meds I am on are really messing with me sometimes. I have my good days and my bad days! The bad days are not so much fun! It is amazing what ONE pill can do to you! ha!
Well I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and I am so ready for fall weather! I LOVE LOVE this time of year!
The picture today is of me and Ryan! I absolutely LOVE my husband to death and he has supported me so much through this! We have grown so much stronger through this process and I could never do it without him!

Busy Busy

Well it has been awhile since I wrote on here... I have been so busy with my Master classes and work.. I guess being busy is good because time flies by when you are busy. I just feel like my weekends are school and during the week is school and classes. Plus I started boot camp which I LOVE!!! It helps relieve soo much stress!
Well I finally started my first cycle but guess what.. My records still have not made it to my new doctor so I cannot begin anything this month because my new Dr. does not know what I have gone through or anything without my files. Honestly, I was so excited when I started and called them to see what was next. Well she told me they can't do anything because they do not have my files. Well I call my old office and they say they need a letter stating they can send Ryan's records over. Why in the world didn't they call and tell me that? CRAZINESS!!! But I guess that gives me another month to get use to the medicines and such. So now we are just playing the waiting game. I def have my moments of break downs esp last week. Well that would of been the week we would find out the sex of the baby and it was just so hard not to think about. It is always in my mind and I have my little moments and sometimes big moments. Oh yeh and to top things off we finally got my bill for my surgery this summer. Insurance did cover a lot of it but we still owe a good bit. I just really hope and pray we never have to go through that again.
Thank you again for all the prayers and such! I will try to write in here more often. Today's photo is of my sweet sweet puppy! I love her so much and we are so very lucky to have her in our life! She is almost 2 and she has helped me so much through this whole journey. When I was pregnant she use to sleep by my belly at night :)

Low Carb Diet

So after going to the doctor and finding out I have PCOS, I am starting a low carb diet. I am a pretty healthy eater and times but I def have my moments. I just LOVE food so much! I can do good throughout the day but nighttime I am HORRIBLE. But that is going to change! I want to have a baby and if this helps I will do whatever it takes. Plus it is good for me and my body! My husband and family will def help me with this! This will be a challenge but I know I can do it! It is kind of a relief knowing what I have now. I knew I had trouble ovulating but I had no clue that I had PCOS. My Dr. explained what it was to me and what I need to do. The medicine I am going to be on will make me nauseous and if I eat too many carbs I will get sick. So please pray for me during this time so I can get through this! Love you all!
Today's picture is of my in laws and brother in law, sister in law and niece. I love them very much and am so thankful to have them in my life!

Long weekend:)

Well we have school off Monday :) I just love long weekends. The only bad thing is that we do not have another break until Thanksgiving but I think the time will go fast.
Ryan came home yesterday and I explained everything about the Dr. We both are having our heads up about the situation and hoping it is a simple thing this time. We have to remember that God is in control of the situation and He is doing it for a reason! People always try to question why and yes it is hard, but we have to remember that as long as you trust in Him you will get through it! I haven't gotten my medicine yet. They said one of them will be in on Tuesday so I think I am going to wait until then to get both and start taking them. I just know what these medicines do to me but it will be so worth it in the end! :)
The picture today is of my really good friends :) They are always there for me and I love them soooo very much! We have the best time together and support each other through thick and thin! I love each and every single one of you! I couldn't find a picture of Ali and Joe but they know we love them!!! :)

Appointment

Today was my first appointment in Lexington, SC. It takes about an hour to get there and my mind was racing the whole time. I was wondering if I would like my doctor or what she was going to say. It has been hard going through what I have been through but I need to stay strong and positive. It went VERY well and I am very pleased with the doctor. First off we had a consultation with a nurse and a lot of questions. She was very nice. Then, I got to speak to my new fertility Dr. She explained to me that I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It basically means that I do not ovulate and I need the help. Then she went on to explain that I might not need another IUI. She can't determine that for sure, but she is going to look at all of my records and such and see. I am being put on two medicines. One medicine I can't eat a lot of carbs with and she said it makes you feel nauseous and not hungry at times. The other one is to jump start my cycle since I am so irregular. Overall, I feel really good about this doctor and our next steps. It will be amazing if it just took some medicine and not what we already have been through! I will keep you updated on each visit. :)Thank you for all of the prayers and sweet sweet messages. God is in control of the situation and I am thankful for my amazing family and sweet friends.
Today is pictures of friends from my school I work at. I am so blessed beyond measure with the support and sweet prayers from them. I do not have pictures of all of them but here are some that I found.

This is the week...

I am very excited about this Friday. I am sure the week will go by slow but I really hope not.. I am always so busy during the week and I think that helps. I am really trying to lose some weight before our cruise in November. I am working out everyday and trying to watch what I eat. I am doing Bethany's Bootcamp in Sept-Nov :) I can't wait! I did a few years back and it was such a good workout and I love working out outside... She does a really good job motivating people so if you want a good workout you should try her! So doing that will definitely keep me busy and taking classes two nights a week and working full time :) My emotions have been kind of crazy lately.. Poor Ryan! I think things just catch up to me at times and I just melt or shut down. I am very very bad about shutting down during hard times. I don't like to talk about my problems because I don't want to be a burden on people and I want people to think I am fine! I am trying to work on that but it is VERY hard. Please just keep us in your prayers on Friday as we start another journey!
On a better note, I have so many things going on the next few months. My 10 year reunion is next month!!!! WOW I am going to be 30 next year! I just can't believe it has been ten years! I am excited to see some people and hang out with old friends! We are going to a football game and Jones Creek the next night! Plus I am going with a really good friend that I haven't hung out with in awhile! I am excited to get caught up with her :) Then, my friend Trish is getting married in October! We have bunches of showers and JASON ALDEAN to go too! It will def be fun! My friend Stevie and I have our birthdays in October! I just can't believe I will be 29! That just blows my mind! She is going to throw a huge Halloween party! After Halloween, my husband and I are going on a cruise with my mom and dad and his mom and dad!! We are both VERY excited about that!!!!! :) And to save the best for last... Christmas is right after :) I just love Christmas!! I love being around family and just seeing all the lights and decorating my house! Hopefully during these fun times we will find out we are pregnant! So I am pretty much booked until December which I love because it will make Christmas come faster!
The picture today is of my best friend Erin :) She has been there for me through thick and thin and we have so much fun together!!!! I truly am so thankful for our friendship and love her dearly!

Staying Busy and life

Today I came to the realization of how busy I really am. I work 40+ hours a week, go to school two nights a week, clean my house, homework, school work on top of the 40+ hours, tutor on Friday afternoon, and exercise daily. Like today I came home and made lunch for tomorrow, rain 4.5 miles(which felt wonderful), worked on part of an assignment, cleaned some around the house and not finally have some time to rest at 9pm. I actually like being busy though because I know in May I will be done with another year of school and have my Master's degree! :)
Well yesterday was my daddy's birthday! I have to say I am very blessed to have such an amazing mom and dad! They are both always here for me and stand by my side no matter what my decision is! I will always be a daddy's girl and I am so proud of it! If something is wrong and I can't get a hold of my hubby I call my dad. Now when I first got married that was a very hard thing to do! I always called my dad no matter what first or even my mom! But I call the hubs first now and then mom and dad :) I remember one time I was really stressed out and my parents were on a cruise and I called their answering machine and just cried! I know one day Ryan and I will be like that for our child.
My doctor's appt got changed. They called me today and said that they couldn't meet on Sept 3 which is a Saturday. Well the next Saturday wasn't open until October! I just can't wait that long so I am going by myself next Friday morning! Ryan can't miss work yet and they said it was okay to be alone! I am beyond excited about this appt and it can't get here fast enough! I want to take the next step and get things started! They were very sweet and nice on the phone which I need! I need that little comfort when I go in for each appt!
Tonight's picture is of Ryan and I :) We like to make funny faces in pictures! We actually haven't done one of these in awhile!

Thoughts just keep going..............

I try and try so hard not to think about being pregnant. People tell me that most of the time if you just stop and relax it will happen.. Well we did that for 2 years before we did fertility and it never happened. I am not trying to be negative about it, but it is hard to think that way. Honestly, when I thought I wasn't pregnant the second time we were going to stop because the next step for us was to do IVF and that cost a pretty penny. We wanted to save up as much money as we could. Then, I found out I was pregnant. My heart just fell in love with the little one inside me the day I found out! We had worked so hard and prayed and prayed about this. My body had been through so much. I was on so many different meds and shots. I would just cry at the drop of anything and I felt exhausted physically and mentally. I was so worried that I found out so late in the pregnancy that I was pregnant. Honestly, it is hard not to blame myself b/c what if I knew I was pregnant and was monitored and they could have stopped the miscarriage. Yes I know I shouldn't think that way but I do..... The D&C was the worse thing I have been through. I am terrified of any type of surgery but this surgery was the worse by far.... The emotions that ran through my head during this whole time were mind boggling. My thought was I just lost someone whom I never met who was so special to me!! So I was in the mindset that we were definitely going to take a break this time. However, I need the help to get pregnant. Yes I know it could happen naturally but that has never worked for us and I am ready to move on. I know my body is going to endure some meds and shots again and that I will be emotionally unstable at times.. But I want that... I want the chance again to get pregnant and hopefully have a healthy pregnancy... I hear and see people who are pregnant and talking about their little ones. I really want to have that feeling. I don't care if my baby keeps me up all day and night.. To have that little precious one in my hands will be the best feeling in the world. I know we will have to sacrifice but it will be the best sacrifice ever! Honestly though I am scared of having another miscarriage but that will be the risk I have to take.... I know I have the support and encouragement of friends, family, and co workers! I am blessed beyond all measure... Our journey starts again in 12 days. Yes I am counting :) I know it is just a consult, but that is the next step to having a baby... I know my emotions will be all over the place again but I can handle this...

The picture tonight is of my family........... These people have been my rock through this whole journey besides my hubby! I am so blessed and love each and one of them!!! OH yeh and the guy in the middle is turning 41 this year! Just thought I would let ya'll know!!! LOVE YOU BOBBY!!!!

Scarlet

We got a puppy about two years ago. I was very hesitant about getting one and took me about a year to finally say yes! I surprised Ryan for Christmas and she is the best puppy ever! She drives me crazy but I love coming home to her everyday and hate leaving her when we are on vacation. I honestly believe dogs know when you are upset. She has been such a support for me and loves on me when I need it! We both love her very dearly and our so thankful we have her!

3rd time...

Let me begin by saying thank you to everyone for the prayers and sweet messages you have sent us throughout this journey. Ya'll are amazing and we are very fortunate to have such wonderful family and friends.... The reason for starting this blog is to keep family and friends updated on our journey and for me to write out everything that is on my mind. If you know me very well, you know I keep things in and I am coming to realize that is not what I should do.. I need to talk about what is going on so I can move forward....
Well as most of you know, my husband and I started trying a few years back. Every month I would just get excited hoping this would be the month. Well it didn't happen so we went to my OBGYN. He guided us in the right direction and well we did 3 months of chlomid and it didn't work.. So we decided to see a fertility doctor. I never imagined that I would have to take the steps of going to see a fertility doctor. I was a nervous wreck on our first appointment. For about 2 months my Dr. examined me and did various test. Well, we found out that I do not ovulate normally. So we moved on to an IUI. An IUI is intrauterine insemination. We had our first IUI in January of 2011. I didn't know what to expect with it and it wasn't that bad. Well we found out later that month that it didn't work. I had an idea back in my head that it wouldn't but I couldn't help but keep my hopes up. We decided to give ourselves a break because literally when you are doing insemination you are on a calendar. We did IUI #2 in May. It was the day of field day at my school and I had to leave early. I was so excited and hoping and praying that this one would work. Well it got to be the end of the month and I had my yearly checkup at my OBGYN. Well they said the test was negative. I held back my tears and just wondered when would it be my turn. I had friends that were expecting and yes I was SOOOO very excited for them but jealous at the same time. Well the month of June went on and we went on a family vacation to Panama City. Before we left I was feeling tired and naucious throughout the days. I was going to take a test down there but decided not to because I just knew I wasn't. We came back home and went to eat with Ryan's mom to TGI Friday's. Well she had some sort of fish and the smell was HORRIBLE to me. Well Ryan and I went to Kroger across the street and he told me to just buy one and take it. Well I really had to use the restroom so I went into Kroger and did it :) Well it came out positive and I was just in SHOCK. I was thinking in my head I am almost 8 weeks pregnant and didn't even know. I came out of the bathroom and Ryan could tell from the look on my face. We were both VERY excited but in shock. Well I went and had bloodwork the next day and went to my fertility doctor and had a sonogram and got to hear the heartbeat. It was the most amazing thing to see my little peanut inside of my tummy. Yes, we called it our little peanut :) Well the next few days I slept a lot and was tired 24/7. It was time for vacation again and we went to New York. Everyone already knew except Ryan's parents. Ryan and I bought shirts that said here comes trouble and bun in the oven and wore them with his parents. They were so excited along with everyone else! We spend about 3 days in New York and come back to go to the Dr. Well I wasn't that tired anymore or feeling sick. I thought I was the lucky one who just got rid of it so fast. We were both sitting in the doctors office and I was so excited to have another sonogram. Well we get back there and see little peanut but do not hear anything. I just thought we woudln't hear the heartbeat today. They send us to another room and my Dr. comes in and says I am sorry but there was no heartbeat. I lost it and just could not get it together. I was just thinking that we have been through so much and then to have a miscarriage. My hubby and the Dr. were so supportive through this time and the Dr. knew that I would not remember anything he said. My emotions were just all over the place and I know many people have been through miscarriages. Well my Dr. could not do my D&C the next day so we had to wait 3 days until Monday. I was so nervous about that and telling everyone the news. We came up with so many creative ways to tell everyone and then I would have to tell them about the miscarriage. Well I had to go through Pre Op and get all of my instructions for the D&C. Then, we had to leave the hospital and go get my prescriptions. All I could think was I just want to go home and soak in what I was just told. We finally made it home and Ryan and I both thought maybe it would be a good idea to go hang out with friends. Well, we went and I lost it at the restaurant and we went home... The day finally came for the D&C and boy was that a procedure. The doctors and nurses treated me so nice that day. I had to relax for a few weeks and let my body heal.... School started back and it was nice because it got my minds off things. Honestly though everyday I think about my miscarriage, but at the same time I am happy because I know I can get pregnant. I just went in for my follow up a few days ago and my doctor recommended different fertility doctors to me. Yes we are going to change doctors just because of personal reasons... Well we both decided we are going to try a doctor in Lexington, SC. Our first appointment is on Sept 2(Saturday). Please keep us in your prayers throughout another journey of fertility. I am very hopeful that it will work and know one day I will have a sweet baby boy or girl :) Thank you again for all of the prayers and sweet messages. Our family and friends are so important to us and the support is WONDERFUL!!!
